Big Book of Boring

Zach Dodson, aka Zach Plague

Author and former Chicagoan Dave Eggers is known for morphing elements of design into his novels. But Zach Dodson, who writes under the name Zach Plague, stretches far beyond the printed page. He's publisher and creative director of the local press, Featherproof Books. And in his new book, boring boring boring boring boring boring boring, he makes the reading experience a multi-media one as well. He recently joined Alison Cuddy to talk about Boring... Dodson says his background fed the novelty of his book.

The Hideout in Chicago hosts a release party for Boring tonight at 8. The event will include readings, live music, and a short improvised reenactment of a portion of his book by the improv group, Bella.
