Ben Calhoun's Update from Denver DNC

SHARE Ben Calhoun's Update from Denver DNC

Last night New York Senator Hillary Clinton delivered her highly anticipated speech at the Democratic National Convention in Denver. Her focus was as expected – it's time to come together and mend any potential party divisions left by the Democrats' bruising primary. Clinton's been on message for months – asking those who backed her in the primary election to now unify behind presumptive nominee, Illinois Senator Barack Obama. Still those most loyal to Clinton also continue to be some of the most resistant to her call.

Our political reporter Ben Calhoun is part of the WBEZ team covering the convention. Last night he joined a group of diehard Clinton supporters to see how they felt about her speech.
