DJ Series: Two turntables and a violin

SHARE DJ Series: Two turntables and a violin

Fridays usually feature DJs on Eight Forty-Eight. Occasionally, the show mixes it up with some live musical performances but this week, Eight Forty-Eight was treated to the two in concert. Although the DJ-musician combo is not new, this turntable-violin combo just might be - Katarina Visnevska played  violin and Matt Warren was the turntable guru.

They play weekly gigs at Double A, and Katarina plays during Sunday brunches at the Wit. The duo will also perform at Oak Street's Saturday Music Series on Saturday from 1:00-3:00 p.m. and will be in Winnetka on Sunday to play a benefit show for the Pilgrim Players.

DJ Series Mini-Set: Katarina plays her violin live to accompany DJ Matt Warren's choice selections!
