Tuesday on Eight Forty-Eight, WBEZ reporter Niala Boodhoo gives the update on the situation with the drought, both in terms of the federal funding Gov. Quinn called for and what it means for the local economy.

And, the first draft of the Chicago Cultural Plan was unveiled yesterday. Arts and music bloggers Alison Cuddy and Jim DeRogatis explain what the plan means for the city's cultural future.
