Not From Here with Eunji Kim celebrates the joys, pains and idiosyncrasies of immigrant families as they move through life in the U.S. together.

It’s not easy being the kid with “stinky” packed lunches or parents who wear jeans to exercise. When you’re an immigrant kid, life can feel like a bizarre balancing act between two or more totally different cultures. Not From Here with Eunji Kim celebrates the joys, pains and idiosyncrasies of immigrant families as they move through life in the U.S. together.

Join us for a back-to-school themed show on Wednesday, August 21 at Sleeping Village. Eunji will be joined by three special guests: Actor and comedian Shadee Vossoughi, and drag performers Derry Queen and Abhijeet. Guest storytellers will unpack their funniest memories of culture shock through games and comedic retellings of their families’ perseverance and revealing the beauty in growing up differently.
