Event description

It’s clear that disruptions caused by the coronavirus pandemic have resulted in learning loss for students at every grade level. And, it’s clear that those losses are most profound for Black, Latinx and low-income students. What’s the best way to respond? How can we improve the learning experiences students in the Chicago area are having now? Most importantly, what can educators, parents, school districts and leaders do long term to recoup what’s been lost?

Join WBEZ’s education editor Kate Grossman and reporter Sarah Karp as they talk with teachers and education experts to examine what lies ahead for our kids.
