WBEZ Presents: Mindmeld - A Mindworks Takeover

Join WBEZ for a day of scientific studies and activities at the University of Chicago Mindworks facility on Michigan Avenue.

Visitors can engage with eight highly interactive exhibits that reveal known concepts from behavioral science. And by participating in research experiments, visitors can test scientific hypotheses that examine new frontiers in the understanding of judgment and decision-making. Participants will be awarded prizes for their participation in this research.

Staff from WBEZ will be on site all day giving away swag and raffling off prizes.

About Mindworks

Mindworks is a one-of-a-kind experience where people can learn more about how their own minds work and, at the same time, contribute to groundbreaking science as participants. It’s a unique hands-on behavioral science lab where you can both study and be studied simultaneously. The center expands research beyond the ivory tower and into our everyday lives.

Mindworks plays an important role in discovering new truths about the inner workings of the human mind, explaining to a broad audience the kinds of predictable errors we all make, and demonstrating how to avoid those errors in order to live happier and healthier lives.
