Live Updates: Chicago Protests and Unrest

Chicago-area native Kanye West, donned in a black hoodie and had on a black mask, joined a march on the South Side. He did not speak or lead the march.

The march, from 46th and Dearborn streets, traveled to police headquarters at 35th Street and Michigan Avenue. The protest, which was led by activist Ja’mal Green and youth organizers from Good Kids Mad City, took place after a rally in which activists called for the removal of police from schools.
