Where are all the protesters?

Earlier this week I was thinking it’d be great to bring you the perspective of people that came to Denver to protest the convention. Unfortunately I found that all the protests are being kept so far away from the delegates, that I’d have to devote an entire day to that and as you know, time is precious here at the convention. Fortunately for you Chicago’s own Lumpen Magazine has been in Denver all week. Ed Marszewski is practically an embedded reporter with the protest movement here at DNC 08. The closest I’ve come to the protesters is reading this Denver Post article! One of my public radio colleagues did conduct this interview during a protest on Monday. This is Anil Mundra speaking with a civil rights lawyer (via PRX). altercation-intv-prxaudition
