According to a new study from the Center for American Progress, Illinois stands to get $22.3‚ billion dollars from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.‚ Crains’ has a good article on distribution of‚ the federal stimulus money. At a press conference yesterday, Chicago Mayor Richard Daley said he had high hopes the money would create thousands of local jobs.
