At Uncommon Ground on Monday, Goose Island Brewmaster Greg Hall spoke glowingly about drinking his own 312 Urban Wheat Ale at the Pitchfork Music Festival. He’s not the only one who associates the Chicago brewery with Union Park’s hippest music festival. Goose Island has always provided the beer for the festival. That could all change this year. There are rumors flying that the 2010 Pitchfork Music Festival will have beer from a non-Chicago brewery.

The question is, will any of the 50,000 people who attend the festival care? Pitchfork has already moved some of their operation to New York City, they curated an All Tomorrow’s Parties festival in the Catskills and the fest’s email newsletter lists a San Francisco address (the address is actually Ticketweb’s).
