Chicago comedians reflect on changing landscape

Netflix employees staged a walkout last week in response to Dave Chappelle’s latest stand-up comedy special “The Closer,” arguing the piece was “transphobic.” These Chicago comedians reflect on the trans experience in stand-up comedy, as well as how the general landscape has changed in response to increased awareness for minority issues.
