Illinois Democrats are set to introduce a major gun control bill Thursday, targeting assault weapons. The proposed bill comes four months after lawmakers started meeting in hopes of creating legislation that could prevent tragedies similar to the Highland Park Fourth of July shooting that killed seven people. Illinois Democrats are set to introduce a major gun control bill Thursday, targeting assault weapons.
