‘Courage Campaign: CTA’ seeks to raise awareness of sexual harassment on Chicago’s public transit

In the last few months sexual attacks on public transportation made the headlines. A man was recently charged for sexually abusing more than one woman on the Red Line, and just last week a woman was sexually abused on the CTA’s Blue Line. Uptown resident Kara Crutcher is fed up with the ongoing harassment girls and women endure while riding the bus and train and is on a mission to heighten awareness about the problem. Kara started the Courage Campaign to get ads put on public transit to increase the awareness. She joins us on the line.
