The photography world is as competitive as the NBA and Hollywood, and Sandro Miller has climbed his way to the top with sheer hard work, talent, guts and just a little bit of luck. Upon seeing the work of famed photographer Irving Penn at the age of sixteen, Sandro committed to a life of images. Sandro has found great success in the commercial world has photographed many national campaigns for clients like Coca-Cola and Pepsi, Budweiser and BMW, Nike and Nikon, and Motorola and Midas just to name a few. His editorial work has been featured in such acclaimed publications as The New Yorker, GQ, and Esquire. In 2001, Sandro was invited by the Cuban government to photograph the country’s athletes and the project was the first US/Cuban collaboration since the trade embargo in 1960. His recent projects include a motorcycle racing shoot in Brainerd, Minnesota and a portrait session with actor John Malkovich in Croatia.
