As flood warnings continue in Illinois, one major insurance company, Farmers Insurance Group, is suing nearly 2 hundred communities in the Chicago area for failing to prevent major flooding last year. The group is claiming the municipalities didn’t take the proper measures to prevent flooding issues. They’re seeking reimbursement for the claims they paid out for flooding damages.
