On May 5, Mayor Rahm Emanuel announced his pick for the new president of the Chicago Transit Authority. Dorval Carter, Jr. will replace Forrest Claypool who moves on as Emanuel’s chief of staff. Pending approval by the CTA Board, Carter will be the first African-American CTA President. WBEZ’s Susie An joins us to talk about Carter’s qualifications.
