Although more women are serving on boards of directors at Chicago’s 50 largest publicly traded companies, a new report shows there are less female Executive Officers than previous years. The study underscores how much still has to be done to close the gender gap. If the rate of change persists, it could be 71 years before women and men are equally represented in the boardroom and executive suites.
