So all this month, our sister station Vocalo has been talking to listeners and booking guests to figure out why younger people aren’t voting. This obviously stems from the dismal turnout in the midterm elections. Locally, we saw 13 percent and it was even worse in Indiana. Actually, Indiana had the worst youth vote turnout in the nation. So why? Is there anything we can take away from 13 percent? I mean, it was a midterm, those elections usually have low voter turnout.
Are people just fed up with the system or was it an anomaly? Joining us in studio to discuss the gap between millenials and modern politics are Brian Babylon and Molly Adams from the Morning Amp which airs on Vocalo 91.1FM every morning from 8-10 am.
