Republicans Back Away From Initial Calls To Block Obama Supreme Court Nominee

The fight over who will nominate Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia's successor intensified Tuesday after President Obama said he intended to nominate the next justice. But on Wednesday, Senate Republicans seemed to back away from initial calls for the next president to name Scalia's successor.
