53rd Ward Alderman Ed Bus Shows the IOC the "Real" Chicago

We're a little upset about one decision the city made recently with regard to the visiting International Olympic Committee.  That would be to not have our favorite city council member lead any of the IOC tours.

Why isn't the knowledgeable – not to mention charismatic – alderman of the 53rd ward on board? We caught up with him to find out what the IOC is missing by not getting on the “Bus.”

(By the way, if you're not "in the know," Alderman Ed Bus is portrayed by Justin Kaufmann, WBEZ's Web Editor. Bus is the fictitious Alderman of the fictitious 53rd Ward, and the brainchild of the comedy ensemble Schadenfreude. Schadenfreude will hit the stage at the Gallery Cabaret – for real – starting Friday, April 10th and running through May 8th.)
