WBEZ’s Natalie Moore teamed up with the Chicago Reporter’s Kelly Virella to investigate the use of tasers. The two looked at cases involving detainees in the Jerome Combs Detention Center and the Kankakee County Jail. In their report, they find that jail personnel severely under-report the use of tasers. Kelly said criminals like Anthony Williams aren’t angels to be handled with kid gloves.
