The Chicago band Eleventh Dream Day gave us one of those moments on the air. For more than two decades, they’ve been fueled by friendship, and the “heroic melodicism” they create as a unit. Along the way, the band has survived a three-album stint with the majors, an untimely lineup change, and the marriage and divorce of its two founding members, Janet Bean and Rick Rizzo.

Back in 2006 upon the release of Zeroes and Ones, we caught up with band members Rick Rizzo, Janet Bean and veteran bassist Doug McCombs.
