Yesterday, Cook County Sheriff Tom Dart announced he would file suit against Craigslist. In his opinion, Craigslist isn’t doing enough to keep illegal activity off its web space. Some sex workers hope to continue working through sites like Craigslist. They say it gives them more control over who their customers are and keeps them off the streets. Beth from the Chicago chapter of the Sex Workers Outreach Project explains how this increased pressure has affected their work.
