Friday is an important day, but not just because people will celebrate veterans. Numerically, Friday’s date is 11-11-11; that combination comes around only once a century. That date also turns out to be a significant moment for Chicago author Amy Krouse Rosenthal. On corresponding palindromic dates in 2008, 2009 and 2010, Amy organized gatherings in Millennium Park. The Beckoning of Lovely project has since extended beyond Chicago. There’s a film by the same name and its followers come from around the globe. The film comes out Friday, and Amy will be at The Bean at 11:11 a.m. for her last gathering of this kind.
