It’s debate time in Illinois. It seems like every day there’s another sound-bite war among candidates for the Cook County Board, U.S. Senate, and Governor. Last night, the Republican gubernatorial candidates debated in Champaign-Urbana. WBEZ’s political reporter Sam Hudzik chats with us about how the candidates tried to break out of the pack.
