When you think of Eight Forty-Eight, we hope you think of all of the politics, news and arts and culture we cover. We also hope you think of us as being vanguards of music even though one of our most popular music segments of the past few years has meant rethinking some classic music. We’re referring to the series UnderCover. That project brought you a hip-hop take on Suzanne Vega. We’ve also given a bluesy feel to classic rock, a Latin spin on disco and lots more.

Those sounds resulted from a collaboration with musician Colby Beserra and audio engineer Brian Schwab.
