Architect Renzo Piano Gives a Tour of the Art Institute's New Modern Wing

The long-awaited new Modern Wing of the Art Institute of Chicago is making its debut tomorrow. Everything about it is big. It cost $294 million and encompasses a whopping 264,000 square feet. Architect Renzo Piano's open and airy design transcends its space and reaches to encompass the entire skyline as a work of art. Piano toured his new work with architecture critic Ed Keegan.
