The long-awaited film adaptation of local writer Audrey Niffenegger’s The Time Traveler’s Wife hits screens tonight. Though Niffenegger struggled to find a publisher at first, the 2003 novel proved to be a surprise hit, selling well over a million copies. And before the book was even published, film companies were already vying to bring it to the cineplex. Chicago Journalist and writer Jessica Reaves tells whether it’s worth going to see.
