Normally this is a great time to tune out and hit the beach. But this year, August managed to throw us a curve ball or two. Dan Rostenkowski went to his grave believing he’d been misjudged for his transgressions. And that’s a tune we’re likely to hear Rod Balgojevich singing for quite some time. In signature style, the ex-governor has taken to the talk show circuit to gear up for his second federal corruption trial. But August 2010 wasn’t all about the Blagojevichs. Panel:
Brian Babylon—Host of the Morning Amp at vocalo.org
Natasha Korecki—Federal courts reporter with the Chicago Sun-Times David Schalliol—Managing editor of Gaper’s Block and visiting assistant professor of social sciences at the Illinois Institute of Technology.
