Author Aleksandar Hemon Talks Love and Obstacles

The Bosnian-born writer Aleksandar Hemon has a new collection of stories, Love and Obstacles that follows the struggles of an unnamed protagonist—a writer—to find an identity in his adopted home. That narrative might mirror Hemon's own journey. Hemon tells book critic Donna Seaman that he's found it a lot simpler to determine his role in society.
