No matter how warm and sunny it gets in Chicago, it's hard to fully forget that another winter is soon on the way.  We just can't seem to shake the memory of cold.  Though it may only serve to make us shiver, a similar chilly recollection proved inspiring to one local author.  Only her freezing feeling happened halfway across the world.  Eight Forty-Eight book critic Donna Seaman speaks with author Cynthia Morrison Phoel about her new book of short stories, Cold Snap.
