The announcement of more downsizing in the automotive world is rocking our neighbors to the east. General Motors will stop production of the Hummer vehicle, which could mean the closing of the am General Plant in Mishawaka, Indiana that employs about a thousand workers. GM’s decision to stop making the luxury trucks comes after a deal to sell Hummer to a Chinese company fell through.
