One of the films screening in Rubin’s series is the 1976 Chicago film A Labor of Love. It’s not a porn film but instead a documentary about the making of one, called The Last Affair. Alison Cuddy talks with the film’s directors Dan Goldman and Robert Flaxman. It’s been more than 30 years since the directors have last seen their feature-length documentary. But their memories of how it all began were pretty fresh.

You should be warned that there’s discussion about sex acts in this next piece.
