Book Draws on Curves and Crevices of Chicago Architecture
While studying architecture in India and China, Dennis Alex dreamed of seeing Chicago's breathtaking skyline. And the first chance he got he did more than tour the sights and snap some pics. Alex used his skills as an architectural designer to sketch some of the city's most famous landmarks. His drawings are collected in Curves & Crevices, Romancing Chicago.
Architecture critic Lee Bey followed Alex on a tour of some of the places in the book. The started at the Adler Planetarium and its place in Daniel Burnham's plan of Chicago. Check out Lee Bey's musings on Chicago architecture at our Blog.
