Chicago-area writer Tony Romano has just published a new collection of short stories called If You Eat, You Never Die: Chicago Tales. The interwoven stories reveal the many layers of one immigrant Italian family living on the outskirts of Chicago. Eight Forty-Eight book critic Donna Seaman says it’s not to be missed.
