Burge Prosecution Presents Victim Testimony

A voice from beyond the grave is just one highlight from the recent prosecution testimony in the trial of former police commander Jon Burge. An FBI agent read testimony from the late Andrew Wilson who said he was beaten and tortured after being brought into area two headquarters for murdering two Chicago police officers. Wilson was found guilty and died in jail in 2007. His posthumous testimony is just one of the many details… of the trial of Jon Burge that John Conroy is covering for WBEZ. Conroy spoke with us yesterday during a break from court. He offered profiles of the victims presented by the prosecution.
