Candidates running for Congress or the presidency have long faced limits on campaign donation. Until recently, this was not the case for folks vying for state and local offices in Illinois. But on January 1, a new law took effect and the latest campaign finance reports showed that less money is flowing into the political system than before. WBEZ’s Sam Hudzik joined Alison Cuddy to explain.
