Cheap Trick Brings Some Good Old Midwestern Rock

Over the past 35 years, the hard-rocking band from the hard-working city of Rockford, Illinois, has sold millions of albums and hit thousands of bars and stadiums. And despite their world wide fame, the members – Rick Nielsen, Tom Petersson, Bun E. Carlos and Robin Zander – still have strong ties to the Forest City. Cheap Trick is currently on tour with Def Leppard and Poison. They're touring behind their newest studio release, called The Latest. They played for us in our Jim and Kay Mabie performance studio, kicking it off with the first single from the new album, "Sick Man of Europe."

Cheap Trick perform at First Midwest Bank Amphitheatre on Friday, July 17, in Tinley Park.
