It’s time for the May edition of Cheat Sheet – your quick and dirty guide to Chicago’s regular monthly Board of Education meeting. And as usual, emotion and drama ran high in yesterday’s meeting. There was a rather fond and lengthy farewell. But there was also some number crunching – Ron Huberman was there with a long-awaited update on his plan for reducing violence in the city. WBEZ education reporter Linda Lutton has some analysis.
