Chicago 2016 Hosts Town Hall Meetings to Gauge Public Interest

Last week, President Barack Obama recorded a video in support of the Chicago Olympics bid just as Mayor Richard M. Daley pleaded with reporters and naysayers to keep positive momentum for the city’s Olympic bid on track. With a little more than two months left before Chicago finds out if it will win its 2016 Olympics bid, the city wants to use a series of town hall meetings to win over the public. Those continue this week. Eight Forty-Eight business contributor David Greising has an update on the meetings.
