And the streets that officers are meant to protect can also be filled with distrusting citizens. Martin Preib confronts these issues in his book The Wagon: And Other Stories From the City. And he would know. He’s a Chicago beat cop. Preib sat down with host Alison Cuddy earlier this summer to discuss the book.
