Chicago is months away from knowing whether it will host the 2016 Summer Olympic Games, but residents on neighborhoods are already making plans. That includes residents in Chicago’s Washington Park neighborhood, which would be the home of the games’ main stadium and aquatic center, are already preparing. Their president, Cecilia Butler, has a bold proposal for the Chicago Olympics.
