It’s been more than two weeks since the Chicago Transit Authority instituted so-called “Doomsday” cuts to bus and train routes. And as CTA management and unions struggle to reach any sort of agreement on other cost-savings relief seems far afield. The RedEye’s Going Public columnist Tracy Swartz has been collecting commuter tales from across the city as she works on riding every route herself. Swartz maps her treks across the city. She joins us for more on how things are going with the CTA.

We want to hear about your commute too!
