Documentarian Frederick Marx Makes Journey from Zanskar

In the film, Journey from Zanskar, a group of children must leave their culture behind so they can save it. Documentarian and former Chicagoan, Frederick Marx, an Oscar-nominated director, trails two monks as they lead several young Indian Buddhists far from home and family. He explains what he learned making the film.
