Documentary Explores the Bond between Chicago Cubs and Fans

As the late, great Cubs announcer Jack Brickhouse once said, “Anyone can have a bad century.” But despite a 101 years without a championship, fans of the North-Siders refuse to abandon their team and refuse to give up hope that “this is the year.” Now a new film documenting that eternal bond between the team and the fans is being released on DVD. It's called We Believe. John Scheinfeld is the film's director. Eight Forty-Eight's Jason Marck spoke with the native Chicagoan and Northwestern grad who says if ever there was a time to do this film, the 100th year of agony was the time.
