Curtains is making its fresh-off-Broadway debut at the Drury Lane Theatre in Oak Brook. It’s an homage to the classic musicals of the 1950s. The music is by Kander and Ebb, the duo who penned Cabaret and Chicago. Our Dueling Critics Jonathan Abarbanel and Kelly Kleiman have this review.

Jonathan’s Pick:
The Tempest at Steppenwolf Theatre

Kelly’s Pick:
Pangs of the Messiah at the Chicago Temple Building

Music Button: Rob Mazurek Quintet, “The Field”, from the CD Sound Is, (Delmark records)
