Dueling Critics: Fake

Religion and science. Faith and reason. Truth and lies. All this, and a mysterious skull, are at the heart of Fake. In this play, the creator of Sherlock Holmes, Arthur Conan Doyle hosts four people closely associated with an archeological find that may or may not be the missing link between apes and man. Fake was written and directed by Steppenwolf ensemble member Eric Simonson. Is Fake the real thing? Eight Forty-Eight's Dueling Critics Jonathan Abarbanel and Kelly Kleiman tell us.

On Stage:
Through November 8
Steppenwolf Downstairs Theatre
