Dueling Critics: Summer People

The coast of Maine seems like the perfect place for a mom and her two daughters to regroup after a divorce and take a break from the hectic pace of New York City. But into their lives comes the campground manager, a Vietnam veteran, and a handsome young stranger just back from the war in Iraq. It's Summer People at the Gift Theatre in Chicago's Jefferson Park neighborhood. Here to tell us if Summer People is like an afternoon in a hammock or like getting sand kicked in your face are Eight Forty-Eights's dueling critics, Jonathan Abarbanel and Kelly Kleiman.

On Stage:

Thru Dec. 13
