Let’s jump ahead now to the year 2040, 30 years ago—in 2010 a charismatic senator was assassinated. His daughter named Hope has been raised, and groomed for office by the late senator’s close aide. Now that aide (Wilson) thinks the time is right for Hope to step into the limelight and into her father’s former seat. But does Hope still want it? You’re not reading too much into this, President Obama’s slogan is, in fact, personified in The House Theatre’s new production Wilson Wants It All.
